At Amazon, I redesigned an inbound-routing hot path for a 50ms latency budget, replacing synchronous DynamoDB reads with an SQS-stream-warmed cache, a circuit breaker, and concurrent fetch-and-merge.
I built a dependency-free Python routing module and provisioned cross-region VPC peering to eliminate cross-region misrouting of payments data. I also delivered event-driven overflow routing across three fulfillment-centre services, absorbing 6.13M units across seven sites with zero rollbacks and a finance-attributed saving of $3.8M.
I cut deployment failure rates from 30% to under 5% across 85+ dependent pipelines by analysing six months of on-call incidents and eliminating 10+ recurring failure modes. I also replaced a manual AWS region-launch process with code-reviewed TypeScript IaC on an automated CI/CD pipeline, compressing lead time roughly sixfold to under six weeks across 10+ services.
I built the team's LLM agent tooling layer, including a harness that writes integration tests against a live stage and checks that each can fail, plus five fail-closed hooks for publish, credential, and deploy actions. Earlier, as an Amazon Software Development Engineer Intern, I developed OAuth 2.0-secured REST APIs and Java microservices for cross-service calls in Amazon Fulfillment.
