At Amazon, I built an event-processing engine using Java, AWS Lambda, and CDK that handles ~10K events per second normally and ~20K at peak. Its pre-filtering logic cut non-qualifying Lambda invocations by 87%.
In Amazon’s World Wide Returns & Re-Commerce organization, I led a multi-region migration for tier-1 reverse-logistics services with zero customer-facing downtime, reducing regional infrastructure costs by 30%. I also delivered SKU-mapping microservices and REST APIs that enabled processing of off-Amazon merchant inventory.
Previously, in Amazon Fulfillment Technologies, I built incident-remediation workflows that eliminated 25% of recurring operational tickets and saved about $50K in annual infrastructure costs. I also handled tier-1 incident response for Fulfillment Center operations and conducted stress and load testing across core microservices.
At Cognizant, I engineered Java and Spring Boot microservices connecting SAP/S4HANA platforms with Kafka for Oxford University Press, and built REST services and XML/JSON transformation pipelines. I also co-authored the research publication MDTouch: Centralized Administration Platform for Health Services.
