I’m a dedicated professional with over 30 years of combined experience in education, counseling, and organisational leadership. My work blends senior teaching, HIV/AIDS counseling, research coordination, and church administration, with a strong emphasis on training, stakeholder liaison, and programme management.
From 2012 to November 2020, I served as Church Administrator and Head of Counseling Department at Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries. I administered the social and operational running of the ministry, provided spiritual and psychological counseling to congregants, and addressed and resolved spiritual issues raised by clients. I also supervised multiple departments to ensure the smooth running of ministry operations.
In research and community programs, I helped drive participant care and reliable outcomes. As a Research Counselor in the UZ – UCSF Research Programme (November 2010–December 2011), I recruited participants, processed consent forms, conducted pre-test and post-test counseling, informed participants of their results, and maintained accurate records while compiling programme reports and leading the research counseling team. Earlier, at Mashambanzou Care Trust (June 2008–April 2010), I counseled HIV patients and caregivers, liaised with Food Distribution Monitors to identify clients needing counseling support, facilitated child counseling sessions, and led training workshops with monthly progress reporting.
Across my teaching career (including Senior Teacher roles), I delivered curriculum for Grade 6 and 7 learners, supported disciplinary and welfare needs as a school counselor, and strengthened assessment delivery as a ZIMSEC Grade Seven mathematics marker. I also bring a practical administrative foundation from my clerk experience at the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture, where I processed teacher appointments and maintained teacher personnel data in computer systems.
