I'm a backend engineer with 15 years of experience building distributed systems that run real production workloads — from Apple's internal factory tooling used across global manufacturing sites, to a telecom sales and distribution platform handling end-to-end order lifecycle, to enterprise GRC products managing risk and compliance for large organizations.

My core strength is Java and the Spring ecosystem — Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, REST API design — along with hands-on experience across the full lifecycle: requirement analysis, high/low-level design, implementation, debugging production issues, and driving migrations (e.g., Java 8→17, Spring 2.x→Spring Boot 3.x). I've worked on distributed processing patterns (multi-server queue handling with Oracle locking), service-to-service security (JWT auth, mutual TLS), and resolving deep production issues like memory leaks under load.

I've led small engineering teams (2–5 members) — owning microservices end-to-end, running grooming and code review, and mentoring junior developers — while staying hands-on with code rather than moving fully into management. My domain experience spans GRC/compliance (IBM OpenPages, MetricStream M7), which I think is a real differentiator for roles in regulated or financial services environments.

Right now I'm actively deepening my skills in Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (targeting AWS certification) to round out the distributed-systems and infra side of my profile, and I'm also building hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.

I'm looking for Senior Backend Engineer or Technical Lead roles now, with the goal of growing into a genuine Architect-level position over the next 1–2 years — I'd rather earn that title through real scope and depth than claim it prematurely.
