I’m a Senior Java Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience designing and building scalable microservices-based enterprise applications using Spring Boot, Kafka, and Hibernate. I focus on RESTful API design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native deployments with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes—so services stay reliable as systems and data volumes grow.
In my recent work at EY GDS, Ericsson Global India, IBM Software Labs, and Ernst & Young, I’ve delivered backend modules for large-scale batch ingestion and portfolio performance calculations, built event-driven integration layers with Kafka (Command & Event topics), and managed evolving message formats with Avro and Schema Registry. I also contribute to cloud-native transformations—migrating SOA to microservices, implementing HPA/cronjobs, and using Prometheus to detect failures—while accelerating delivery through CI/CD with Jenkins and Git, plus GitHub Copilot for higher productivity and code quality.

Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Delivered backend services for wealth/performance analytics and an event-driven capital markets integration platform using Java microservices. Implemented Kafka-based asynchronous communication with Avro/schema management, performed batch pipeline validation and production support, and participated in CI/CD container deployments.
Built backend capabilities for IBM DataStage Canvas connectors, including RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and data transformation logic in support of ETL workflows. Developed automation tests with Selenium, used Jenkins for CI/CD, and investigated/debugged defects reported in JIRA.
Refactored and split microservices into smaller domains, adding Kubernetes and containerization capabilities for scalable operations. Built Helm charts, implemented persistent volumes/log retention behavior, integrated tracing collectors, and resolved defects via JIRA support during test cycles.
Developed microservices as part of a cloud-native transformation, migrating a SOA-based solution to Kubernetes-deployed services. Implemented operational features including HPA scaling and Prometheus/PromQL-based alarms, and supported CI/CD deployments across QA and UAT.
