I'm leading WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region work on polio eradication, vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks, surveillance, laboratories, and emergency action planning across the Middle East.
I've supported outbreak preparedness and response in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Nepal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Ukraine, Yemen, and other Member States. My work has covered Ebola, polio, cholera, Lassa fever, Zika, H1N1, COVID-19, and post-disaster settings.
At WHO, PATH, CDC/TEPHINET, RTI, and HCL Healthcare, I've built surveillance systems, led program evaluations, developed operational guidelines, and strengthened data analytics, risk communication, and stakeholder coordination. I also developed COVID-19 screening and risk-stratification tools used by more than 1.5 million employees.
I enjoy building public health leadership and health-system capacity. I've trained over 500 senior health managers and continue supporting countries to prevent, detect, and respond to emerging public health threats.
