I am a bilingual optometrist and trained medical interpreter with a strong foundation in patient care and health data privacy. Fluent in English, Igbo, and Nigerian Pidgin, I have experience interpreting in both clinical and community settings, ensuring that patients feel understood and respected. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate their healthcare journeys with clarity and empathy.

Currently, I am an intern optometrist at Standard Optical Eye Clinic in Lagos, where I conduct comprehensive eye exams and document visits using EMR systems. I also interpret for patients, maintaining HIPAA compliance in all interactions. My experience as a community interpreter has allowed me to serve diverse populations, assisting individuals during medical outreach programs and community events.
