DD Zhu

I teach introductory Mandarin language and culture to K–5 students at Denver Chinese School and provide individualized Mandarin tutoring for adult learners.

I prepare age-appropriate lessons, classroom activities, and original learning materials that support engagement, comprehension, confidence, and steady progress. I also communicate with students, parents, and school staff about learning goals, expectations, attendance, and student support.

Before teaching, I managed multinational office operations in China for VERO Software / SESCOI, part of Hexagon Group, and Consona ERP. I bring Mandarin, English, French, and Shanghainese language skills along with cross-cultural communication, organization, and Microsoft Office capabilities to my instruction.
