Dayana Dyachenko
@dayanadyachenko
Operations Manager and researcher specializing in cross-cultural communication, linguistic analysis, and international conference coordination.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Researcher and operations manager with expertise in cross-cultural communication, linguistic analysis, and large-scale project coordination. My MA thesis focuses on conceptual translation between structurally divergent language systems, including “The Stories of Death” in Leslie Marmon Silko’s Storyteller.
In my current role as Operations Manager, I serve as Organizing Chair for CSCML 2025, managing budgeting, venue, speaker coordination, and communications for 100–150 attendees from 7+ countries. I also organized IBM’s 10th Anniversary event for their Israeli research lab (~150 attendees), acting as the primary IBM liaison.
I bring a research-driven approach to operations, coordinating multi-stakeholder projects across international teams and establishing internal protocols for workflow efficiency. As a Research Assistant, I analyzed thousands of embassy social media posts across five countries and built classification rubrics used for ongoing academic research on digital diplomacy.
Alongside research and operations, I’ve supported teaching and publication workflows: I’ve led discussion sections, provided detailed feedback on grammatical precision and analytical argumentation, and edited academic publications for submission. I’m trilingual (Hebrew, English, Russian) with a focus on register-level precision, and I’m energized by work that combines rigorous analysis with effective coordination.
