At Defensores de la Cuenca, I strengthen financial, operational, and programmatic compliance while overseeing grant applications and coordinating the organization’s first Single Audit. In my first six months as Compliance Director, I helped bring in more than $300K in new grants.
Previously at Customer Value Partners, I led grants analysts conducting Desk Reviews of National Science Foundation awardees, refining review processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and grant-management quality.
At the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and FHI 360, I managed grant and project portfolios totaling up to $15M, built systems that improved communication and reporting, developed proposal budgets, and supported audits. I also managed College Access Grant Evaluation projects, won more than $2M in rebid opportunities, and led cross-department initiatives to use resources more effectively.
My foundation includes more than a decade at the Academy for Educational Development, where I implemented grant evaluation, data collection, financial management, and federal reporting for education and USAID-funded programs.
