Registered Nurse delivering compassionate critical care across ICU/SDU and post-cardiac surgery with charge and precepting experience.
What I'm looking for
I’m a dedicated, adaptable RN with a proven track record of excelling in high-pressure environments. I’ve delivered ICU and SDU care at Flagstaff Medical Center and transitioned to Travel RN work in 2014.
In my current Banner Health role, I care for post-surgical patients across complex specialties, including Radical ENT, Surgical Oncology, Gyn/Onc, Tracheostomy, Renal/Nephrology/CBI, and DKA. I provide oxygen delivery and respiratory support with High-Flow NC and BiPap, administer continuous critical care cardiac IV medication, and support bedside procedures with critical-care equipment setup, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. I also take on Assigned Charge RN and Preceptor responsibilities.
As Clinical Charge RN at Core Civic Correctional Institute, I collaborated with physicians to rapidly assess and treat patients while managing rapidly changing conditions. I supervised daily scheduling and tasking, trained new nurses on care standards and safety protocols, and documented in patients’ electronic medical records to support continuity of care. I’ve also precepted New Grad RN’s and coordinated dialysis care, including access-site assessment, treatment setup and preparation, disinfection, hemostasis, and medication and blood product administration.
I’m committed to continuous learning and improvement—always striving to make each patient feel valued and cared for. From high-acuity ICU/IMC environments during COVID-era crisis assignments to post-cardiac bypass/heart transplant and thoracic populations, I bring strong assessment, delegation, and patient-advocacy habits to every shift.
