Provided post-surgical and high-acuity patient care across Radical ENT, Surgical Oncology, Gyn/Onc, tracheostomy, renal/nephrology/CBI, and DKA populations. Delivered respiratory support (HFNC, BiPAP), administered continuous critical care cardiac IV medications, and supported bedside procedures while serving as Charge RN and Preceptor.

Collaborated with physicians to rapidly assess patients and deliver appropriate treatment while managing rapidly changing clinical conditions. Managed scheduling and unit tasking, trained new nurses on care standards and safety protocols, documented in electronic medical records, and coordinated care through assignments and physician rounding.

Administered continuous critical care cardiac IV medications, assisted physicians with bedside procedures, and served in Charge RN and Preceptor responsibilities.

Managed 100% COVID-19 patient populations in the ICU, including patients requiring continuous IV medications such as paralytics, vasopressors, sedation, and pain management therapy. Provided oxygen/ventilatory support (HFNC, BiPAP, mechanical ventilation), performed proning, and supported diagnosis-specific and end-of-life care.

Worked primarily in PCU/SDU post heart/thoracic settings and completed an assignment on a PCU trauma floor. Managed patients requiring cardiac drips and care involving multiple chest tubes, and continued relief charge responsibilities including orienting new hires and precepting new graduate RNs.

Administered IV medications for inmates receiving treatment in the infirmary and assisted the primary RN with inmate care. Provided wound care per the Medical Director’s orders and supported LPN medication administration as needed.

Provided primary RN care for critically ill step-down and ICU patients, performing assessment, planning, implementation, education, and evaluation in line with facility policies. Managed unit supplies/equipment, promoted teamwork across the healthcare team, and completed the NAH New Grad Critical Care Program.
