Danny Hossam

I’m a final-year Computer and Communication Engineering student, focused on building real-world software through full-stack development. I’ve worked hands-on with REST APIs, web applications, and database-driven systems end to end.

In my Backend Software Development Internship, I built RESTful API endpoints with Laravel using MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, and database migrations. I collaborated on authentication flows and data validation in a production codebase, using Git branching and pull requests within an agile team workflow.

On the research side, I completed an Arabic NLP & LLM Research internship where I studied Arabic tokenization, text preprocessing pipelines, and transformer-based model architectures. I also contributed to applied NLP research at a university-affiliated research center.

I express my engineering mindset through projects—building full-stack apps with modern React + Node.js stacks, robust database persistence, and tested REST APIs. I’m seeking a software engineering role where I can contribute to product development while continuing to grow across backend systems and applied NLP/LLM work.
