I've taught students across grades 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 at Winterfield Venture Academy and The Maritime Academy of Toledo, creating lessons, curriculum, assessments, and targeted student supports.
At Winterfield, I moved from co-teaching middle school into a second-grade classroom role, quickly mastering Ohio learning standards while managing instruction, PBIS-based behavior systems, IEP and 504 accommodations, grading, benchmark testing, and parent-teacher conferences.
At The Maritime Academy of Toledo, I taught ELA, journalism, and public speaking while partnering with administrators, families, and community members to align student programs with institutional goals. I developed systems to monitor performance, attendance, and behavior, used data to guide support, and integrated digital learning tools for hybrid and remote instruction.
I've also coordinated esports and boxing programs, managing recruitment, registration, compliance, competitions, practices, and student transportation while connecting student interests with community opportunities.
