With over two decades of experience in infrastructure, observability, and telecom solutions, I am writing to express my interest in your Senior SRE or Infrastructure Architect opportunity. My background includes transforming legacy environments, delivering scalable monitoring architectures, and saving millions in operational costs—both in traditional enterprises and edge environments.

As the Product Owner for Instana at IBM, I led the global migration from Splunk to Instana, resulting in annual savings of over $6 million. This required deep coordination across platform teams, OpenTelemetry integration, and the successful enablement of 6,000+ services in a highly regulated environment. I also acted as a technical architect, developing agent-level instrumentation for logs and metrics, helping modernize observability across hybrid and mainframe infrastructures.

Before this, I founded Dorsal Solutions, where I built and maintained infrastructure in harsh and isolated locations like Alaska and Namibia, delivering VOIP, satellite, and CPaaS solutions under extreme conditions. One of my most rewarding projects involved securing VOIP communications using blockchain mechanisms for military-grade deployments and telco partners such as Verizon and Tata Communications.

In parallel, I led a large-scale CDR (Call Detail Record) archival project for Brazilian telecom providers, designing an Ansible pipeline that compresses years of federal-mandated data into 1.5TB chunks and offloads it into AWS Glacier. This reduced cloud storage costs while ensuring full compliance with federal retention laws.
