What I'm looking for

Senior backend role (Java/Spring or Node/TypeScript, plus LLM systems) on a remote team with real ownership and a useful product, as a contractor on Central Time.

At TELUS, I develop Java and Spring Boot services for a recommendation engine built on the TM Forum TMF680 Recommendation API. It serves offers and promotions to TELUS and Koodo customers, handling about 40 million requests a month.

As a freelance software engineer, I designed and built Rori, an AI platform that turns scanned medical records into dated, categorized summaries for workers' compensation reviews. Its processing pipeline combines OCR and LLM review, and I reduced its cost by 62% to under $0.01 per page.

At Universidad de El Salvador, Western Campus (FMOcc), I maintained and modernized Java EE and JSP systems and ran campus infrastructure. I also built and published WiMouse and Webcam4all, two consumer apps with about 150K downloads combined.
