I was a SPED teacher specializing in Autism. I worked with non-verbal students with severe behavioral issues. I utilized a Basics curriculum to aide in independent living skills. I also supervised six intern teachers while also working in admin and creating curriculum for several programs.

Scheduled courses, maintained accurate daily records for 300+ students.
• Conducted comprehensive staff and course evaluations, identifying key areas for improvement.
• Processed onboarding for incoming students and managed graduation processing for 200+ students
• Was a liaison among students, instructors, and administration, improving communication flow and fostering a collaborative environment

Led independent study and 9th grade English classes, creating tailored lesson plans to promote individual academic growth and success.

Taught students elements of rhetoric, grammar, paragraph and sentence structure, and analytical reading skills. Developed and implemented performance-based assessments to evaluate student comprehension.

Taught students the essentials of essay writing, educated students in Greek, Latin, and Old English affixes, and taught technical documents such as resumes and business letters.

Instructed English Language Learners in the acquisition of the English language and pronunciation of English Phonemes. Taught students how to construct simple, complex, and compound sentences.

Obtained a Special Education Credential specializing in moderate/severe disabilities, equipping with the skills to support students with Autism and other special needs in educational settings.

Earned a Subject Credential in English, preparing for a career in education with a focus on teaching English language and literature to high school students.

Completed a Bachelor of Arts in English, focusing on literature, writing, and critical analysis. Developed strong communication skills and a deep understanding of English language and literature.
