I’m a Solutions Architect and Technical Lead with 25+ years of experience designing, delivering, and modernising business-critical data systems. I specialize in SQL Server-based platforms, data integration (ETL), reporting solutions, and operational applications—translating complex business requirements into scalable technical outcomes.

Across my independent consulting work, I’ve led end-to-end system development and full SDLC delivery, often managing distributed teams (UK & offshore) to keep projects on track. I build integration pipelines using SSIS and APIs, improve data consistency, and reduce manual processing through automation, validation, and integration patterns.

My core strength is legacy transformation: I modernize spreadsheet- and Access/DB2-driven processes into scalable SQL Server solutions, and I drive data migration programmes that prioritize data integrity and compliance. I also deliver reporting and analytics with SSRS and Power BI, creating operational and management reporting that improves efficiency and decision-making.

Recently, I established an offshore development capability in Egypt for a UK-based firm—setting up operational, legal, and technical infrastructure, recruiting and managing teams, and aligning delivery processes with UK objectives. I’ve also led and supported high-pressure environments (including 60+ operational systems) and built bespoke platform solutions with workflow controls and role-based access—always focused on stakeholder clarity and measurable delivery impact.
