Cory Hurless
@coryhurless
Programs and operations professional driving compliance, stewardship, and mission-focused execution.
What I'm looking for
I've spent 10+ years making programs run well, from coordinating logistics, building partner relationships, keeping documentation airtight, and connecting people to resources and opportunities they wouldn't find on their own.
My background spans public-sector arts administration and municipal program management, with experience coordinating 30+ active vendor and artist contracts at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and managing a multi-program portfolio at the Hearst Center for the Arts in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I've worked alongside city departments, nonprofit organizations, universities, and community groups, translating organizational priorities into actual deliverable outcomes.
What I do well: I keep programs on track through clear systems and follow-through. I build partnerships that expand what a program can do. I find the right people for the room and make sure the room is ready when they get there. I also manage grant lifecycles from proposal development through compliance and closeout across state, local, and competitive funding streams.
I'm looking for a remote individual contributor role in program coordination, operations support, or community engagement. I am seeking a role at an organization where I can contribute creatively and passionately to work that is bounded, where the mission matters, and where doing the job thoroughly and well is enough.
