Conducts statewide investigations of allegations of child abuse and neglect in residential institutions, foster homes, residential treatment facilities, and childcare facilities. Maintains case documentation in a case file and the CAPSS data system and meets statutory investigation time frames.

Answer incoming calls according to policy using approved scripting to collect demographic information and enter data into the transaction module. Screens calls with the Inteflecs Complaint tool to identify emergent calls for nurse handling per policy.

Handled and maintained accountability for documents by signing out, returning, and reviewing records. Reviewed information pertinent to a Veteran’s claim and performed independent reviews as well as team participation.

Monitored urine sample submissions under court and post-sentence drug testing orders and ensured chain of custody procedures. Investigated and verified date of birth and release orders in JUSTIS and input/reconciled case information in PRISM.

Organized work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling, sorting specimens, logging specimens, and arranging reports for delivery. Ran standards and controls, calibrated equipment, monitored quality control measures, and communicated abnormal patient conditions to appropriate clinical personnel and public health reporting officials.
