What I'm looking for

I seek roles combining hands-on metocean fieldwork and instrument deployments with data-product development—collaborative teams, operational impact, and opportunities to scale automated analysis tools.

I am a coastal scientist with extensive experience deploying and maintaining metocean instrumentation, developing automated QA/QC toolboxes, and producing real-time dashboards using Python Dash/Flask and MATLAB. I have led HF radar network expansion and permit efforts, run advanced wave models (SWAN, SWASH, XBeach), and performed bathymetric and shipboard surveys for plume tracking and benthic assessments.

I combine field operations expertise—buoy recoveries, tide gauges, ADCP/CTD/turbidity surveys—with strong data-processing skills in MATLAB, Python, and GIS to deliver validated metocean products and operational tools. I have published and presented on HF radar wave measurements, wave processing, and network QA/QC across conferences and collaborative projects.
