I help job seekers turn their skills and goals into real employment outcomes through career counseling and hands-on support. As an Employment Counselor/Direct Support Professional at Blue Heron Programs, I develop personalized employment plans, help clients write professional resumes and cover letters, and run workshops on job search strategies, networking, resume writing, and interview preparation.
I also bring direct care experience from my work as a Behavior Technician at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, where I delivered one-on-one therapy using evidence-based strategies. I supported social skills through structured activities, maintained documentation of progress and incident reports, and used positive reinforcement and behavior modification plans while ensuring safety protocols were followed.
