At SaleCycle, I’m the technical lead for a greenfield search platform and REST API on Azure AI Search, guiding technical direction and delivery through to production. I also modernised the JavaScript build toolchain to TypeScript and esbuild, reducing local build and reload times by 91%.
I rebuilt SaleCycle’s Shopify application to improve scalability, deployment performance and security, and designed and published a Node.js SDK for its impressions API. I work with customers on complex integration issues and mentor junior engineers.
At Upvio, I built an AI-powered CMD+K interface with OpenAI, Groq and AWS Bedrock so users could query and navigate their data. I also addressed more than 100 dependency-related security vulnerabilities and introduced MongoDB transactions across workflows.
I’ve built subscription and catalogue microservices at Elastic Path, and rebuilt Givey’s core platform in Ruby on Rails. Independently, I’m developing Above The Ruin, a 2D pixel-art game, and I created Gherklin, an open-source TypeScript Gherkin linter adopted by multiple engineering teams at Elastic Path.
