Directed concert, marching, and general education music courses, including a writing-intensive course using SHMRG and multitrack analysis tools (Splitter.fm). Led Maverick Stampede show/music/drill planning and improved program visibility through student leadership and a revitalized social media campaign, with recent ensemble enrollments up to 134.

Led instrumental music instruction for grades 5–12, designing drill, creating custom arrangements, and directing a competitive marching band program. Expanded and reorganized jazz programming from one extra-curricular ensemble to two curricular ability-grouped ensembles plus three combos, and revamped the beginner program to nearly double content coverage across an academic year.

Supervised music curriculum, instruction, advocacy, and grant programs for approximately 75,000 students taught by 83 certified music teachers, managing a quarter-million-dollar annual budget. Served as a doctoral teaching assistant in music education, teaching and supporting coursework and student-teaching supervision roles with rubric-based evaluation and detailed feedback. Conducted research support by assisting with analysis, coding, and interpretation of qualitative data on music education majors’ experiences in special education placements.

Mentored undergraduate music education students in conducting techniques, including score analysis, interpretation, and rehearsal strategies. Designed music and drill for halftime shows, arranged stands tunes, and led sectional instruction in coordination with athletics and marketing teams.

Taught general music in PreK–5, including instruction for students with varying exceptionalities, and served on a curriculum design committee. Secured grant and PTO funding to launch a world drumming ensemble and directed chorus, Orff ensemble, drumming ensemble, and recorder club.

Directed beginning band, group lessons, string orchestra, extracurricular jazz band, and pit orchestra, and prepared students for state music education association events. Designed an echeloned band curriculum emphasizing skill development as the basis for enrollment.
