What I'm looking for

I’m looking to combine AI/ML, analytics and research with data engineering—building BI dashboards and intelligent ML systems that surface actionable insights for worthwhile causes.

I’m a BI Analyst/Developer and ML Engineer, focused on turning data into real-world insights by combining machine learning and business intelligence with strong data engineering foundations. I aim to “reveal great insights for worthwhile causes,” especially through analytics that can support research and public health.

Currently, I build BI solutions and bring ML expertise into an analytics program, working with AWS and Yellowfin while leveraging my previous BI and data engineering experience. Previously at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI), I used machine learning—particularly natural language processing—to extract critical vaccine safety and effectiveness information from clinical notes and social media, and I strengthened decision support through Power BI reporting and SQL Server Analysis Services (including DAX, tabular models, and custom Power BI visuals).

I also bring deep experience designing and delivering data platforms: I supported data warehouse development under Microsoft technologies using Data Vault design principles, and created SSRS and Power BI dashboards for performance reporting. Across my roles, I’ve contributed to vaccine safety initiatives recognized with a 20K GSK award, upgraded analytics systems to cloud-based platforms with Azure Data Factory and Power BI Premium, and co-authored publications on NLP, deep learning, and large language models for near real-time surveillance.
