At Fin Africa, I build and maintain backend services and integrations for Apache Fineract. I delivered a USSD loan origination flow with automated affordability checks, and built a RabbitMQ pipeline to clear M-Pesa repayments and process payments from government institutions.
I’ve also automated Fineract fund disbursement and ledger posting, credit bureau reporting, and bank-to-bank loan integrations. To support compliant paperless approvals, I built a two-step OTP consent flow that stores signed documents in S3/MinIO.
Previously at Rensoft Solutions, I worked on bancassurance integrations for banks and SACCOs, including payment processing and connections to core banking and regulatory systems. I also migrated 20,000+ customer accounts from legacy systems using Python scripts, with zero data loss.
