I'm applying remote sensing and machine learning to classify rooibos and monitor production patterns using multi-temporal Sentinel-2 imagery as part of my BSc Honours research at Stellenbosch University.

I've processed hyperspectral data in Python, compared SVM and Random Forest classification models, applied feature selection, and interpreted model performance. My GIS work includes spatial data processing, digitising, mapping, spatial querying, image classification, accuracy assessment, and technical reporting using ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, eCognition Developer, and PCI OrthoEngine.

Through teaching-assistant roles in Geoinformatics and Geography, I support students in GIS theory and practical work while explaining technical concepts clearly. I also bring careful data-quality experience from spatial-data digitising, mark checking, and civil-engineering surveying support.
