I'm an environmental scientist and geospatial analyst focused on GIS, remote sensing, satellite image processing, spatial analytics, and digital mining research.
At DigiMine within the Wits Mining Institute, I supported research and field data collection in experimental mining spaces. I also helped test and demonstrate digital mining technologies and guided visitors through simulated underground mining systems.
My technical work includes JavaScript in Google Earth Engine, Python in Google Colab, Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, and LiDAR scanning with MAPTEK. I bring an MSc in GIS and Engineering and graduated with distinction in GIS and Remote Sensing.
I've also taught tutorials and practicals at the University of the Witwatersrand, supported field excursions, and provided assessment feedback. I enjoy applying careful analysis and field-informed geospatial work to environmental and mining challenges.
