What I'm looking for

I’m looking to teach and conduct rigorous economics research in a supportive academic environment. I want to apply microeconomics, statistical analysis, SPSS/Power BI, R/Python, and keep helping students succeed through engaging course design, seminars, and thesis supervision.

I am a highly skilled economist with a strong background in Microeconomics, Mathematical and Statistical analysis, and research. I teach with a clear purpose: to help students succeed through effective teaching and course content that encourages intelligent discussions and teamwork.

I initiated an annual Economics Program seminar, “Aday with Philosophers”, which improved students’ familiarity with philosophers and their contributions to the discipline. In my teaching roles, I actively supervise and support learners—tutoring, setting and grading examinations, and organizing seminars and discussion groups—so learning stays practical and engaging.

As an Assistant Lecturer at Bowen University (December 2020 – date), I supervise final-year theses, contribute to Quality Assurance in the Economics Program, and support research and journal article preparation. I also served as Economics Department’s examination officer for Extended Remedial Program 2020/2021 and 2023/2024, and I carry out administrative responsibilities and data-driven tasks for research on Covid 19 in Iwo and Osogbo.

I combine academic rigor with modern analytics through training in data analysis using SPSS and Microsoft Power BI, plus qualitative statistical analysis using R and application of Python. I’m also motivated by energy-and-development policy work, and I publish research on topics like carbon footprints, renewable energy consumption, profitability in dairy farming, and macroeconomic linkages including remittances and exchange rates.
