What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead regional-integration strategy through rigorous, policy-facing econometric research, coordinate multi-year analytical work, and apply results-based risk and resilience monitoring in a data-driven environment.

I’m a development economist and applied researcher with 16+ years of experience producing rigorous, policy-relevant analysis on regional economic integration, macroeconomic dynamics, and cross-country development challenges across Sub-Saharan, North, and West Africa.

I design and deliver multi-country comparative research using advanced panel and time-series methods (ARDL, NARDL, GMM) and translate that research into policy-facing outputs published in international peer-reviewed journals. My work focuses on topics like oil price transmission, exchange rate volatility, inflation, and trade imbalances across African economies.

I also bring proven leadership in research quality and coordination: I chair the Committee on Research and Seminars, supervise faculty and doctoral-level research, and oversee multi-year programme delivery (including designing and coordinating the NCE Regular Programme). I’ve supervised 27 undergraduate research projects and serve as a peer reviewer for multiple Elsevier journals.

To bridge analysis with implementation, I’m World Bank Group-certified in results-based project delivery (D3: Define, Develop, Deliver), risk and resilience monitoring, and UN-certified expertise in SDG statistics and data frameworks. I complement this with applied data and ICT capabilities (R, Stata, EViews, Power BI, Python; Oracle 9i; CCNA), enabling me to support institutional strategy and operational coordination.
