Charles DiGiovanni

My name is Charles DiGiovanni, and I am an aspiring cybersecurity professional currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at the Rochester Institute of Technology. With a GPA of 3.5, I have developed a strong foundation in various cybersecurity principles through relevant coursework, including Introduction to Cybersecurity and Programming for Information Security. My passion for technology is reflected in my 8+ years of programming experience, where I have honed my skills in languages such as C, C++, Python, and JavaScript.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have engaged in hands-on projects that showcase my technical abilities. One notable project is the SSH Honeypot, which I developed using Python and the paramiko library. This honeypot emulates a terminal and logs all interactions, providing valuable insights into login attempts and command executions. I am also working on a custom steganography engine that utilizes various image and audio formats to conceal information, further demonstrating my commitment to exploring innovative solutions in cybersecurity.

Beyond my technical skills, I have gained valuable experience in customer service and operations management through my roles as a Student Worker at the DSP Campus Post Office and as an Assistant Manager at Camera Concepts and Telescope Solutions.
