Dylan Khazin
@dylankhazin
Entry-level cybersecurity professional focused on secure systems, monitoring, and hands-on IT support.
What I'm looking for
I’m an open and agile cybersecurity professional who learns quickly and works independently. I build positive, constructive relationships with both colleagues and customers, and I actively look for opportunities to grow through real problem-solving.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security from SUNY Alfred College of Technology (Dean’s List, 2022–2024) and continue strengthening my security foundation through hands-on work and ongoing certification progress. My CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) is issued March 23, 2026, and set to expire March 23, 2029.
In my IT, Networking, & Cyber Security Internship (May 2024–December 2024), I managed computer systems following organizational guidelines, set up a training lab with networking equipment, and built virtual environments for testing and learning. At Intelligent IT Designs (November 2025–March 2026), I resolved technical issues for customers, monitored systems to ensure security and proper functioning, and performed routine maintenance—including helping image new computers.
I also support operational continuity through onboarding and offboarding for IT, networking, and security needs, and I’m comfortable with tasks like troubleshooting email issues, password resets, and printer problems. I’ve contributed to team success in the Cyber Security Club at Alfred State College, including helping my team finish top 250 out of over 3,000 participants in the NECCDC National Cyber League.
