What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a Data Engineering internship where I can build reliable cloud data pipelines and warehouses, strengthen my AWS and orchestration skills, and contribute through root-cause problem solving and data quality work.

I've built cloud-native data warehouses on AWS, including an Olist e-commerce pipeline that processes 1.5M+ rows across nine source tables using S3, Redshift Serverless, Airflow, dbt, Terraform, Docker, and Great Expectations. I designed its Bronze/Silver/Gold architecture, Kimball-style star schema, least-privilege IAM model, and data-quality gate to stop bad data before it reaches analytics.

As a final-year Data Science undergraduate at SLIIT, I've also delivered multi-source SSIS warehouses, SSAS OLAP cubes, Power BI reports, and an Airbnb price-prediction platform that improved R² from 0.57 to 0.773. I track engineering problems to their root cause and am looking to bring that approach to a data engineering internship.

Built an end-to-end AWS data warehouse processing 9 source tables (1.5M+ rows) through Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architecture, with all infrastructure provisioned as code in Terraform. Modeled a Kimball-style star schema in dbt and enforced data quality with Great Expectations and dbt tests.
