What I'm looking for

I'm seeking opportunities in English-to-Brazilian Portuguese translation projects, especially academic, education, and pedagogy content, where I can apply my teaching background, language analysis, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines and confidentiality.

I'm transitioning into translation after 22 years teaching English and elementary school, bringing strong language analysis, text organization, and pedagogy experience to English-to-Brazilian Portuguese projects.

Through ProZ pro Bono, I've translated texts from English to Brazilian Portuguese while developing linguistic accuracy. I'm also building practical capability in machine translation post-editing, subtitling, CAT tools, localization, LQA, proofreading, and AI-assisted translation, with a focus on academic, education, and pedagogy content.
