I’m a highly analytical, detail-oriented Trauma Registrar who optimizes healthcare operations through expert data management, coding, and process improvement. I focus on turning complex clinical information into accurate, usable registry data that supports quality and integrity.

In my current role, I review complex medical charts for meticulous data abstraction according to National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB), state, and local facility guidelines. I accurately code injuries and procedures using ICD-10 and the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS), maintaining high data quality while protecting consistency across records.

I also lead internal department projects to reduce inaccuracies and improve efficiency. I’ve optimized an Inter-Rater Reliability (IRR) chart auditing process, created a local trauma registry data dictionary to standardize data collection, and mapped EHR data elements to registry automation to enhance transfer efficiency.

Earlier, as a Virtual Health Coach, I built strong documentation habits and client-centered communication. I used motivational interviewing to adapt strategies to individual needs, maintain continuity of care, and support engagement and retention—skills that translate naturally into careful, patient-impacting data work and process discipline.
