Ensures the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by responding to emergencies and patrolling the hospital. Assists with high-risk patient escorts, patient watches, and de-escalation of aggressive behavior in coordination with clinical staff.

Observed specimen collection for female basic trainees, ensuring collections are properly sealed and labeled and that containers have not been tampered with.

Accessiones clinical specimens by sorting samples such as blood, plasma, and urine, then routes them to staging, labels them, and prepares them for testing distribution.

Monitors school crosswalks to prevent injuries by clearing hazardous objects and informing police headquarters of hazards and pedestrian accidents. Keeps accurate counts of children crossing during morning and afternoon shifts.

Patrolled the Alamodome to deter theft, vandalism, and violence while identifying and addressing fire hazards. Controlled access by detaining or preventing unauthorized entry, monitored entry/exit points, and maintained activity logs.

Served as Shift Supervisor for a detention center with up to 140 male and female inmates, overseeing a small deputy team and detention center operations. Handled control room duties, scheduling and communications, performed arrests and booking/bonding, and transported inmates including federal transfers to ICE detention facilities.

Earned an associate degree in Criminal Justice from Palo Alto College.

Earned a high school diploma from Frank M. Tejeda High School.
