What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can teach and coach learners in literacy and test preparation, with room to support community impact, collaborate closely with students, and use my writing and editorial strengths.

I’m a current tutor at HUNTINGTON LEARNING CENTER, providing one-on-one SAT and ACT prep for English and Reading. I bring extensive training with the course materials and consistently support measurable student progress.

Previously, I led innovations in marketing and community engagement as a Bookseller & Marketing Assistant at VILLAGE BOOKSTORE, and I helped customers discover titles while managing inventory control. I also organized campaigns to donate books to local schools and prisons, strengthening community connections through literacy.

I’ve also taught online as an Adult Education Instructor at CORNERSTONES CAREER LEARNING CENTER, covering English as a Foreign Language, GED Prep, and Reading & Language Arts, while overseeing outreach, enrollment, and student retention. Earlier, as an Education Development Consultant with PEACE CORPS ECUADOR, I trained 8 local educators and supported library development that made 450+ books available to the community, along with youth development programming and publishing experience as a Copy Editor & Contributor at El Clima.
