I am a dedicated mobile engineer with a strong background in software engineering, specializing in Flutter development. My expertise lies in UI design, database integration, and creating reusable components that enhance mobile product development. I have successfully led projects that prioritize user experience and efficient coding practices.

Throughout my career, I have worked with various companies: At HomeTown Fintech (Nigeria), I started as a Mobile Developer and grew into the Lead Mobile Developer role. Over two years, I maintained and later led the complete rebuild of the Hometown mobile app.

At Soloride, I integrated Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to enable real-time push notifications for ride updates. I also worked extensively with the Google Maps API and developed core ride-hailing functionalities, such as finding nearby riders, completing trips, and implementing a driver rating system.

In my role, I implemented key fintech features such as airtime and data purchases, bill payments, and user savings functionality — all optimized for local use cases. I also enhanced user engagement through animations and introduced dark/light theming. As a lead, I coordinated design and development workflows using Trello, Figma, Docs, and Meet, ensuring smooth delivery and collaboration across teams.

At Kochure, I served as the sole Mobile Developer, where I migrated the app to a modern Flutter stack (null-safety and Riverpod). I also developed critical features such as crypto price charts and in-app savings tools, contributing to a 20% increase in returning users through improved personalization and usability.

At Verido, I implemented an offline-first approach to ensure the app remained functional and reliable even in environments with limited connectivity. I implemented manual synchronization between local and remote databases, allowing users to continue using the application without interruption. For efficient local storage, I utilized Hive as the caching solution, which provided lightweight and fast data access. Additionally, I developed a background syncing mechanism to maintain data integrity, ensuring that updates made offline were accurately reflected in the cloud once connectivity was restored.
