At Schweiger Dermatology Group, I coordinate biologic cases across providers, insurers, patients, specialty pharmacies, and pharmaceutical access managers. I created a Google Sheets tracking system to monitor insurance details, mandated pharmacy locations, and prior authorization expiration dates, helping surface patterns and limit medication delays.
I also support dermatology and Mohs care by documenting patient encounters in the EMR, assisting with in-office procedures, and providing pre- and post-operative instructions. I triage provider messages, process medication refills, and train new medical assistants using scenario-based practice.
Earlier, at SightMD, I designed a post-operative checklist to help geriatric patients manage multi-ophthalmic drop schedules. At OCLI and SightMD, I conducted ophthalmic assessments, supported physicians, and documented visits as a clinical scribe.
