Occupational Therapist leveraging 5+ years of acute care data-driven utilization review.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) with 5+ years of acute/critical care experience, managing high-volume, medically complex caseloads. I bring advanced skills in patient data analysis, efficient and accurate clinical documentation, determining appropriate levels of care, and optimizing individualized treatment plans.
I’ve built a track record of collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to justify services and ensure continuity of care. At Baptist Health Lexington, I provided evidence-based assessment, care, and discharge planning for ICU/telemetry patients, with extensive experience across Neuro, Ortho, GI/sepsis, and Cardio-Pulmonary—while ensuring documentation compliance for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines.
I also supported staff development as a Nurse Educator and Safe Patient Handling Committee Chair, including onboarding RNs with mobility outcome measure (AM-PAC/JH-HLM) training and strengthening interdisciplinary team communication. Through the Evolving Leaders program and the CMS TEAM model transition, I focused on appropriate discharge disposition, decreasing LOS, and decreasing readmissions, and I’m now seeking a remote Utilization Review role to apply my clinical expertise to operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high quality patient outcomes.
