What I'm looking for

I want to build and scale agentic detection + response platforms—owning contract-first APIs, event-driven automation, and reliability—working with security product teams to turn real customer workflows into production systems.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience building large-scale cybersecurity systems and AI-powered applications. Currently at Zscaler (via Red Canary’s $750M+ acquisition), I architect cross-product integrations that connect MDR backends to agentic SOC capabilities.

I design distributed detection engines and build agentic SOAR automation systems that process trillions of files daily. I also designed the API contract that exposes Red Canary’s MDR capabilities—covering tenant provisioning, third-party integration management, event detection/pivot streams, and agent telemetry—to enable autonomous response workflows.

I’ve led recovery of a stalled cross-organization integration by redesigning the API contract and shipping corrected implementations, becoming the technical interface for product engineering on design decisions. I maintain a large Rails monolith for enterprise security customers, led a Rails 6 → 7 upgrade with zero downtime, and deliver reliable detection and response platforms backed by strong observability and incident response practices.
