Bryan Cámbar
@bryancambar
Backend developer and database specialist, leading technical projects and delivering REST APIs with FastAPI, Django, and NodeJS.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Systems Engineering student who focuses on backend development and database design, with a track record of delivering production-ready REST APIs and well-structured data layers. Since 2021, I’ve worked across backend and full-stack tasks while keeping quality and maintainability at the center of my process.
At Overcif Studio, I’ve led a multidisciplinary team of 6 members while contributing as both Project Manager and Software Developer. I manage work through Hybrid Scrum and Kanban, driving sprint planning, task tracking, and delivery coordination, without losing momentum on engineering.
On the technical side, I’ve built and tested APIs using FastAPI, Django, and NodeJS, and I’ve designed and implemented databases with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL. I also use Postman for API testing and documentation, and I apply CI/CD and software quality practices to support reliable releases.
Right now, I’m building VICIO, a gaming community platform where I combine backend fundamentals with modern frontend experiences using React and NextJS, plus responsive UI development with TailwindCSS. I enjoy tackling real product problems end to end—and I’m energized by teams that value engineering discipline, clear collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
