What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply climate-risk assessment, environmental modelling, Python, and GIS workflows to practical adaptation and sustainability challenges, working with municipalities, public bodies, and international partners.

I've co-led climate adaptation planning for 11 municipalities in Portugal's Aveiro Region through CLIMAAX, developing Python and GIS workflows across extreme precipitation, coastal and river flooding, damages, population, and wildfires. I translate complex modelling results into practical adaptation plans, workshops, and technical deliverables for municipalities and government clients.

Across University of Aveiro, IDAD, and CESAM projects including UNaLab, DISTENDER, FONDA, AIRTIP, SAGE, FireSmoke, GENESIS, and FUTURAR, I've delivered environmental modelling, emissions scenarios, satellite-data workflows, and climate analysis. My work includes 14 peer-reviewed publications, six as first author, alongside training, mentoring, and public communication on sustainable urban development and climate resilience.
