I’m a detail-oriented healthcare administration professional with extensive experience in medical billing, credentialing, authorizations, and patient management across oncology, emergency medical services, and behavioral health. In my current Billing and Credentialing Specialist role, I fully support billing functions—allocating and posting payments, applying claim adjustments, resolving denials and rejections within turnaround times, and ensuring accurate billing submissions. I generate and review billing reports to confirm correct use of ICD-10, CPT/procedure codes, and required modifiers per payer guidelines.
I also own multi-state credentialing of Behavioral Analyst Technicians, run monthly reconciliation reports to pursue unpaid or aging claims, and actively appeal and resubmit denied claims to primary, secondary, and tertiary insurers to secure full payment. Previously, at De Muelenaere Oncology, I supported the Radiation Oncologist and centralized authorization workflows by managing appointments, sourcing medical reports, completing comprehensive medication authorizations, and requesting authorization for hospital admissions.
