Brian McMillan Zhou

I am a user researcher with a background in psychology and human behaviour, experienced in planning and conducting qualitative and mixed-methods research in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments. My work focuses on understanding user needs, identifying pain points and translating insights into practical improvements across digital systems. I have experience supporting user-centred digital experiences through usability testing, interviews and behavioural analysis. I do part-time consulting in website and social media services, contributing to the improvement of content structure, communication and user engagement. I also have working knowledge of Figma, which supports my ability to collaborate effectively with design teams and engage with product workflows. I am particularly interested in research for creative and interactive products, where understanding user motivation, engagement and workflow is critical.
