What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a research-focused role where I can collect and analyze data responsibly, support evidence-based decisions, and communicate findings clearly. I want to work with teams that value safeguarding, quality, and stakeholder collaboration.

I’m a dedicated, detail-oriented Biomedical Science professional with a strong background in research, research methodology, and data analysis. I translate complex scientific and technical information into clear messages for diverse audiences, while staying grounded in evidence-based decision-making.

In my roles as a Research Assistant and Survey Enumerator, I’ve collected and polished quantitative and qualitative data using structured tools and interview methods, including Zoom-based interview data collection and endline evaluation work. I’ve used digital data collection platforms (Kobo Collect), maintained strict informed consent and safeguarding, and supported high data quality through daily review and validation checks.

I also bring hands-on lab experience through attachments that strengthened my technical research capability—from molecular biology (DNA extraction, Gel electrophoresis, PCR) and ELISA to microscopy, immunology workflows, sample management, and cryopreservation practices. Beyond research, I support community and stakeholder engagement through advocacy, presentations, and coordination—strengthening initiatives that promote informed decision-making and sustainable development.

Conducted pre-field training and implemented endline survey data collection with refugees and vulnerable populations across Nairobi neighborhoods. Collected GBV prevention/response, child protection, legal aid, MHPSS, referrals, and cash assistance evaluation data using Kobo Collect with informed consent, confidentiality, and daily data quality checks.
