Bouchra Bayarassou

I developed EyeComm, an assistive communication application that uses eye tracking and a fine-tuned CNN to support people with motor paralysis through a webcam or smartphone camera.

In my Software Developer | AI / ML role, I design and develop web and mobile applications, including business websites, e-commerce platforms, and mobile apps. I also train and fine-tune machine learning and deep learning models, from preparing datasets and training pipelines to evaluating performance.

My projects include a hand gesture-based touchless interaction system and Gesture Drawing, which lets users draw on screen through real-time gesture recognition. I’ve also developed mobile applications, including Samar, a podcast app with browsing, search, profiles, and an integrated audio player.

I work across the project lifecycle, from design to deployment, using tools and frameworks including Python, React, PyTorch, OpenCV, and Docker. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Vision from USTHB.
