Blanca Ruiz

I’ve spent my career in the US helping foreign-born individuals feel at home, whether that meant volunteering as a translator for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge or supporting Hispanic communities as a Realtor in Baton Rouge.

As a volunteer translator (2014–2015), I translated in Catholic Charities’ monthly program for refugees, making it easier to communicate and be understood.

Right now, I’m also working as a substitute teacher at St. George Catholic School, stepping in as needed while continuing my studies and staying connected to the community.

I bring an architecture background (B. in Architecture) and an M.S. in Construction Management, and I use my language skills—Spanish (100%), English, Italian, and French—to guide clients through complex processes with respect and support.
