What I'm looking for

I’m looking to apply my skills to build reliable, mission-critical systems—secure, scalable full-stack and backend platforms—especially in government, financial, telecom, or tech environments, using modern engineering and AI to solve operational problems.

I’m a motivated, detail-oriented Software Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience designing and building scalable, secure, high-performance applications. I thrive on turning complex requirements into maintainable systems and clear, reliable delivery.

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kenya, I spearheaded the architectural development of a distributed enterprise ticketing system supporting 71 international diplomatic missions. I built robust backend infrastructure and API pathways for global workflow task assignments and issue reporting, and I helped implement secure authentication and role-based access controls for international government environments. I also integrated LLMs into the ticketing system to enable autonomous handling of common future issues and tasks.

Previously as Lead/Senior Software Engineer and Architect at BivonTech, I maintained and optimized legacy systems while planning smooth migrations to modern frameworks. I developed dynamic data pipelines, designed database schemas for high-concurrency environments, and helped bring multiple AI systems into production. Through my freelancing work, I’ve delivered full-stack web and backend solutions across e-commerce, education, healthcare, and finance—leveraging Rust for memory-safe, high-concurrency services and improving performance, reliability, and security through testing and refactoring.
