I am Bhavana Acharya, a software engineer with a strong background in web development. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Puhule Pune University. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in creating responsive layouts and optimizing web performance for various screen sizes and devices. I have also worked extensively with React, implementing and maintaining complex single-page applications (SPAs) that have resulted in a significant increase in user engagement.

At Karkhana.io, I played a key role in creating the entire procurement portal for our buyers, which included both the web and a Procurement PWA app. I utilized GitHub for version control and collaborated with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure the successful delivery of features and bug fixes. Additionally, I have hands-on experience working with HOC and React-context, and have created custom Datadog dashboards to visualize key metrics and troubleshoot production issues.

Prior to my role at Karkhana.io, I worked as a Lead Application Developer at Whitehatjr, where I established the creation process flow for mathematical games. I trained a team of game developers and implemented better development practices to improve productivity and product quality. I also reduced error tickets significantly by introducing robust game development techniques. As an Application Developer at Whitehatjr, I developed math educational games using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and created innovative applets using Geogebra-Math engine to enhance user-learning experience.
