What I'm looking for

I'm seeking remote opportunities in data analysis, forecasting, and data-oriented software development where I can apply Python, statistical modeling, PostgreSQL, and Rust.

I've analyzed maritime data for the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, processing 18,490 records in Python to calculate port distances and visualize approximate shortest sea routes. That work became the starting point for Harborly, an open-source port data and sea-routing toolkit.

At the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Treasury and Finance, I built a multi-node PostgreSQL test environment on Linux virtual machines and worked with permissions, backups, recovery, replication, failover, and load balancing. I also reviewed database support requests using PostgreSQL, SQL, Bash, and Linux.

I'm a Statistics graduate from Ankara University focused on data analysis, time series, and statistical modeling. My projects include German electricity-load forecasting with SARIMAX, XGBoost, LightGBM, and Random Forest, as well as a configurable CHIP-8 and SUPER-CHIP emulator built in Rust.
